Hello all...
Don H,(email webmaster for full name, an contact information) a fellow section 31 property owner (way in the back). has donated a sign that i requested. (I may or may not be up this weekend to put it up, maybe someone else can?)
anyway, sign is for out at beginning of section 31, (where they took down the primitive road sign). Says
SECTION 31
ROAD
MAINTENANCE
INFORMATION
WWW.SECTION31ROADS.COM
That should catch everyone as they pass through.
Moreover, Don also has kindly offered to provide anyone who would like, additional signs. (these are real "official" road signs).
such as,
Begin Private Drive
End Public Road
No Trespassing
not a thru street
private drive
pavement ends
no outlet
for just cost of producing the signs, and a very small labor charge. (smokin deal if you ask me)
Hope to see ya all soon.. QB

8/17 Meeting
Well, hi and welcome,
I made it to the meeting, (a bit late). was actually a good meeting. our guest speaker did a good job, and i think he explained how the road maintaince thing works. I can not explain it here, but will get the notes from his speech posted soon as i can.
I think most of us in attendance ended up leaning toward liking what they did. (i apologize if i am wrong).
we would have much more control over what is done with the tax money collected than i thought we would. Main thing I got from it. no improvements from it, just better and scheduled maintaince on the roads. we could control what and when. any movement of roads would be our own thing to do. With the large amount of owners in section 31, and the tax collected by already documented county property values, seemed a more equatable way to slice up the collection pie. Again, if i am reporting incorrectly, it's just what i have from memory. more official documentation will be posted very soon.. maybe by Sunday or Monday evening.
there were 52 people in the room (i did count). Lots of good ideas exchanged.
Well, that's all i really know for now, just wanted to let everyone know we did have the meeting, and the conversations were productive.
see ya all around, Quad.
